1. The Squeegee 2. Oiling Your Marker 3. General Tips [Under Construction] |
Section 1: The Squeegee The first thing you defineatly need is a squeegee. The squeegee pictured below is called a jerk squeegee. You put the long wirey end through the barrel, and then pull so the disks and swab on the end pull everything out. In my experience this is the best kind you can use. So go out and buy one, they're about 10 bucks, and most online paintball retailers will sell some kind of squeegee. ![]() |
Section 2: Oiling Your Marker Oiling your marker is very important because if you neglect to, the internals will scratch and wear away at eachother and eventually get worn out or break. It's not hard to do at all so it's defineatly worth the 5 minutes to just pop out the internals and dab a few drops of oil here and there. The oil itself is specific to paintball guns. You don't want to use anything besides 100% synthetic oil. A bottle like the ony pictured below only costs about 2 dollars. ![]() |
Now to the actual oiling. It says in your owner's manual how to do this, but if you lost it or something, here's how. - After removing the bolt/hammer assembly, put a drop of oil onto each o-ring. Put two drops of oil onto the cocking rod. Put a drop of oil onto the bolt. - After removing the trigger frame, put a drop of oil onto the pivot points of the trigger and sear. - The valve and valve o-rings do not require oil. That's taken exactly from my owner's manual. To take off the trigger frame unscrew the two allen screws on the trigger frame. ![]() |
